Per an article on Canadiens.com this morning, David Desharnais will change his number for the upcoming season - his first as a full-time NHL'er - from 58 to 51.

While a fan of the sport of hockey at large, born and raised in Montreal, he has been a lifelong diehard Habs follower, and enjoys keeping up on all aspects of the Canadiens - from prospects playing overseas right up to marketing decisions made by the big club.
